Pay for what you ordered.
Halver splits a restaurant check item by item — the host snaps the receipt, guests claim what they ordered from the browser, and everyone pays the host back for what they had.
No 1/N. No spreadsheet. No "I'll Venmo you later."
01 · Itemized
"Who got the steak?"
Each person pays for what they had.
- ·Host snaps the receipt — line items extract automatically, on-device.
- ·Guests scan a QR and claim what they ordered, right from the browser. No app to install.
- ·Shared items split among everyone who claimed them. Tax and gratuity distribute proportionally.
- ·Host sees what's still owed — not every transaction, just the part that matters.
02 · No install
"They can't skip the install."
Guests join from the browser.
- ·Scan the QR — guest opens straight to your session in the browser. iOS, Android, anything.
- ·Already have the Halver iOS app? The link opens directly in the app — same session, same data, native polish.
- ·No account, no install, no friction. Type a name, claim the items, done.
- ·Payment happens in the apps your guests already use — Venmo, Zelle, Cash App. Halver hands off, you confirm.
03 · On-device
"Your receipt is yours."
Receipts never leave your device.
- ·OCR runs entirely on iPhone, using the system Vision framework. No cloud upload, no server-side fallback.
- ·Guests see their own claim. The host sees aggregate totals — never another guest's contributions.
- ·No money flows through Halver. We don't process payments, hold funds, or see your card.
